We had been sitting on the bus for three hours to go 15 miles through downtown Atlanta. About 1″ of snow had fallen and the city was in chaos.
Atlanta called a state of emergency. Schools closed, businesses sent employees home. Hotel staff stayed over or never arrived and services were stripped to a minimum. All for an inch of snow.
It was an amazing experience for a girl from Central Ontario. What I noticed was the great lesson in what happens when you don’t have the tools or know-how to deal with a situation.
I am so glad that you keep joining me week after week to add to your tools and know-how. Keep truckin’!
