Remembrance Day is coming up. It has always been a day that has moved me, right from the assemblies at public school through to the ceremonies at the local cenotaph.
We talk about gratitude; as a nation we owe a big thank you to the men and women who help us have the amazing choices and freedoms that we have in Canada. A special THANK YOU to the retired and active military personnel closest to me – my wonderful husband and several amazing friends – Besh, Danny, Kent, Rob and many more.
Put on your poppy and take a moment at 11:00am on November 11th to honour the people who have come before us, and those who stand in front of us now. We have the freedom to make our own choices and live amazing lives. Part of that comes from others standing up for freedoms around the world. Thank you.
Lest we forget.
